LR Nut ......... what is the 'bump plastic' on the front roof ?

I understand the 'His & Hers' ashtrays in the bonnet, but the roof has me perplexed.

Thanks but I've just seen an old picture on here of the black strips on Firenze red and they look good.

That might have been one of mine. I replaced it with another Firenze Red one, which I passed to the body shop to paint and they looked fantastic (I’ll dig out a photo if it’s still relevant), but they do rather remove the point of having protective rubbing strips in the first place as they as are vulnerable to exactly the same damage that I put them on to protect me from in the first place! Cheaper to paint a damaged door moulding than to take a door dent out and repaint the door if the paints been chipped also. Then worry about having a shiny new door against and old one. Regarding painting the door mouldings it’s a personal choice. They are a charcoal colour and over time they fade. Up here the salt in winter turns them a milky colour. Yes back to black works for 48 hours unless it rains they you have streaky doors. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
