Tyre infö?

Hi guys

New FL2 owner here (07 SE) on 235 65 17 do approx 75% on road and 25% laning / fields.

Currently on Cooper Discovery AT3's an hit a patch of flooded road about 25 mph and was not too impressed Not sure if its the tyres or the truck?? the same scenario has never been an issue for disco's n defenders??

Also thinking of changing tyres so just after your advice / thoughts on pro's and cons on General Grabber AT3 Vs Michelin Cross Climates

FL2 newbie so any advice greatly appreciated be gentle Wink

The problem with the tyres on the FL2 is that they are quite wide at 235 on the 18" wheels. So they're quite likely to Aquaplane on deep water at speed. Obviously some tyres cope better than others.
I had a dodgy moment some while ago in my first FL2 and that was with new Nokian Weatherproofs on the front. It was a very deep, large puddle after a downpour I hit at about 45mph. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE
