General rattling sound on small bumps

Hi

Owned a FL2 for a few weeks now.
When driving in town (Gothenburg has horrific roads with cracks, bumps and tram rail all over) over smaller obsticles I think its a general rattling sound under the car (all 4 wheels).
But on really bad roads in the countryside, when driving over bigger obsticles and such - the car i absolutely quiet and feels solid.
Is this normal and acceptible??

Best Regards Martin.

It sounds possibly a loose heat shield but not doing it over rougher roads is a puzzle.

Could be a snapped spring. Mine lost just half the bottom coil on a front spring and the bit that snapped off was just sat in the cup rattling about. Might be worth a check.

A common cause of suspension rattle on many cars is wear in joints of the the anti roll bar links. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

Air vent on LH side, there is a bolt behind it that needs checking for tightness I believe. Doing a search will / should find the info. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current
