Clutch Slipping ... 3 months on from buying from dealer

On the 15/8/17 , took the plunge and bought a 13 plate FL2 XS manual, 29500 miles on clock. Around 10/11/17 noticed a slipping of clutch in 3rd at 2000rpm. Contacted dealer who said book it in with local dealer (as they are 120 miles distant). Rang them , after explaining fault was intermittent, they booked it in for 9/1/18 and said log occurrences till then. Well since then its moved onto , 4th, then 5th and then 6th (all at 2000RPM under acceleration). On one occasion in 6th it managed to illuminate the "change up" indicator on the dash !!!
I've read the previous posts on clutch/DMF etc but if its the clutch I'm guessing I'll get the wear and tear argument under warranty, although I'm thinking more fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights after 3 months and 3000 miles. Any thoughts or similar experiences ?

Can’t help with the warranty questions, but the slippage sounds just like mine (59 plate, 82,000 miles, which i’ve only had 5 weeks). I’m hoping it will last till spring, then it will go to an indie for a new clutch. I am working on the basis that putting in a new clutch at the start of ownership means that I know where I stand and the new one should see me out. I’d feel pretty hacked off, though, if I only got 29k out of it! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

You have greater consumer rights in the first month of ownership do not be side-lined in accepting a later repair would be my view as you may regret it.

Visit the Honest john website for up to date info on your full consumer rights as a recent purcasher. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Had this last year with my 2010 xs,non landrover garage supplied me with Rac warranty(which is nothing to do with rac)they a re a company based in the Isle of Man.3 months in on a trip to north Devon, very hilly got clutch slip in 6th gear.dealer said contact rac and they would sort it.
Had quotes from stealers £1900!!!! Shocked indie,s around £1200 to £1500.i had it done at RCV Land Rover in Kent, very professional outfit with very good reputation, replaced the lot for £1300,using same parts as the stealers, with curtesy car if req.
Observed the many peramiters(get out clauses)with warranty company, they refused claim down to the good old "wear and tear"clause.went back to dealer who gave me their area reps number and they finally agreed a figure of £500 as a good will gesture,so lucky with that. gone

During some internet trawling I came across this https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/ad...-my-rights
Which seems to give me some come back on the dealer who sold me the car, at least I’ve got something to work with.

Hi rich
Yes I also saw that, but a friend who is in to legal stuff said in my case there was a slim chance,I might get something but meanwhile I needed the car sorted pretty fast.
Good luck with yours, let us know how you get on.
Cheers

UPDATE ........ Clutch and dmf replaced due to wear and tear in mid January, LR warranty wouldn't cover it but suggested the LR dealer who I purchased the FL off should be considering my consumer rights (strange but true!), anyway to cut a long story short, having had to pay £1612 myself to get car back ( as it was repaired at my local LR Dealer), supplying LR dealer has agreed to foot bill in full due to the fact Id only had the car just over 3 months when the fault came to notice. To be honest its been actually a quite painless experience other than having to foot the bill initially.
