Just how many times can a badge be reheated and relaunched and retain any credibility?! At least SIAC have given up in flogging the illusion that it’s British though.

As something to fit in the prettty wide gap between a Dacia and a Kia, it’s got its attractions. With a 7 year (albeit limited to 80,000 miles) warranty, this could be a great retirement car, especially for those who can still remember MG.

When I look at that number plate, MG ZS, I can’t help but think ‘MU GS’. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Youtube is quite addictive - loved the ship fails and others, didn't bother with the MG one after 10 secs. FL2 Ex D2, D3, RRS, etc. now all gone.

Give it time. Not so long ago we were saying the same sorts of thing about Korean-manufactured cars, and before that the Japanese. Chinese cars will be mass-market in a decade or so, if not sooner. Basic cars at (relatively) cheap prices is just the thin end of the wedge.

I did some work for a company in Scunthorpe years ago. The computer system they had searched out inappropriate words emails ......... you guessed it ....... you couldn't post the name of the town.
