This fits perfectly in the centre console of the FL2 and you can close the lid. Nice little torch.

Any feedback please? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Looks interesting, the ability to just plug in the car lighter port to recharge it is a definite plus, I wonder how bright it is.

i got a similar one a couple of years ago but made by Ring

keep it plugged into the boot charger socket as I use both front ones occasionally but the torch is really good.

Thanks RogB but does that drain the battery?

God, wish I could get over this flat battery phobia!!! Rolling with laughter If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Does not drain the battery as the accessory sockets (aka cigarette lighter) are off when the ignition is off.

Mine is quite bright (compared to old filament torches, it's like a laser). Actually I would go as far as to say very bright - I have some incredible high power LED torches, and this isn't shamed by them at all.

mines in the boot so only on when the ignition is on, one of the front ones is permanent live though so probably would have had some miniscule impact on the battery when parked up. Very Happy

it lights up red when charging, but the white light in use isn't bad at all for the low cost, certainly enough to see under the bonnet when connecting your jump leads Rolling with laughter

I don't know about your Freelies but mine has permanent power in the boot socket and the one in the centre consul by the audio socket, though both cigar lighter sockets do turn off with the ignition. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I got one of these, weirdly though, when i plug it into the rear charger socket, the DAB radio loses signal....

I hang exterior led fairy lights over the kitchen window at xmas, this kills the pure DAB radio signal in the kitchen.

Many farmers are fitting LED floodlight to tractor cabs ( more light without overloading existing cables and fuses) . cheap lights kill the radio, better lights have suppressors and the radio is fine.

obviously the torch here isnt lit whilst charging but the led circuit must be energised At work
