Dab disappeared?

Dab has disappeared from my radio. It was working fine till a couple of weeks ago when " no reception " was displayed on the radio screen and it went off. Turned it off and back on. This fixed it for a week or so till it happened again. This time turning it off and on didn't make any difference. Now it has completely disappeared from the radio. Scroll the fm dab selection button and it's just not there anymore.
I've tried disconnecting the battery and also removing the pin in the fuse box but no joy. Doing this didn't cause the radio to lose its memory as I would have expected.
Anybody have any ideas on how to get this back ? Preferably without a trip to the dealers.

Fault code check may be one way of pin-pointing problem. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

if it goes away try point to the right, with your right arm raised high, bend the left at the elbow and point in same direction

that will get your DAB back Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

After last posting my DAB was working it only lasted a day or two and stopped again. I have now found a permanent fix, the dab module in the boot was at fault. I’ve replaced it with a like for like unit from eBay and problem now is resolved.

This is the module. Located in the nsr of boot behind the boot lamp.

I won't go into details of how I know this, the DAB unit shown is susceptible to wet/damp/water as it sits under the o/s/rear vent under the rear fixed window, so if you have anything in the rear stowage compartment that could produce enough water to trickle down through the vent onto the module it will cause the DAB problems.

May be worth running a hairdryer over/at it for 10/20 mins before buying a replacement.

I wish I could tell the whole story, but I'm sworn to secrecy .. I laughed my bloody socks off though! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy

I had something similar yesterday - it appears that a number of DAB stations need to be retuned, or at least that is what I did and they were all found again.
