Fitting Pittasoft BlackVue DR650GW-2CH dascam's

I've been using DashCam's since 2009 when I lived in beautiful Queensland and wouldn't be without one in any vehicle I own now.
I had an older DashCam set taken out of a car I sold so I'm in the process of installing it to the LR2.
Also installing a PowerMagic Pro PSU so the camera works when the car is parked and unattended.
The hardest part is routing the cables discreetly under trim.
Not finished yet but here's a couple of pic's so far.

Are the wires just pushed in with the fuses ?

For the PowerMagic Pro, yes.
Remove fuse, wrap bare wire around a fuse leg and replace.
It sounds a bit Heath-Robinson but there is perfect contact and very securely held in place.
No room for a piggy back fuse coupling as the fuse panel cover goes flat against the fuses. Derek Hill

Sorry Delboy I beg to differ,
Piggy back fuse holders will fit under cover
and of course gives one more flexibility over choice of fuse rating.

Be interested to know where folk recommend finding a perm live, ground and switched live for this as I don't fancy the method used here.

I also +1 for dash-cams - last summer I was wondering why on earth I had wasted my money on one. After all, in 35 years driving I have only had one crash and liability wasn't in doubt (the other guy!) and even though the 3rd party was not insured we recovered all our costs. And then in September I had a hit and run - without the dash cam my insurance would have a "fault" claim and I would have lost my excess - a princely £1000. The dash cam footage was essential - the driver not only denied liability, he denied there even been a collision.

I'd forgotten about piggy back fuse holders - never used them. Do I need slimline ones? Any ideas?

Hi dirtyduck, not sure where I got mine, probably Vehicle Wiring Products or 12 Volt Planet both on line.
Piggy back holds fuses at 90deg so is a lower profile.
Hope it helps
