Wife just took her Peugeot 207 in for MOT, it's 56 reg and only done 48k miles and it failed on a broken rear nearside coil spring, apparently they rust at the bottom. Funny thing is that the car failed three years ago with both rear springs broken which I replaced using apparently quality (ie not the cheapest) springs from Eurocar parts. In three years she has only done 9k miles and we do live at the end of a bumpy lane. Eurocarparts only guarantee for a year but have others seen this sort of regular failure from replacement? The original springs lasted 7 years.
PS she weighs less than 8 stone and never carries passengers. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Get in touch with eurocarparts and see what they have to say, might get a discount on new ones. Common sense isn't very common.
