Could you please share the CCF fields I need to edit to enable PDC screen after selecting "D"and also have the option by soft button into the PDC screen to access the camera? I do have the camera working but when selecting D returns to home screen of my GEN2.1 and I need to select PDC screen by the PDC button... thanks!!

Hi StuartC, thanks for the PM. Any Ideas on how to edit the IPMB setting? using CCF or somewhere else? Only FYI i have added factory camera with the factory wire harnesses and execute via SDD the factory function to add the fixed rear park camera, with success to all functions (moving lines, sensors, camera app appears into the GEN2.1, etc) but the PDC screen to appear when selecting Drive after reverse as expected to happen.. also the camera soft button into the PDC screen (when selected by the PDC console button) is not there, indicating that the system config is missing something (PDC screen not knowing camera is there and camera system ignoring PDC screen when switching to drive after reverse). Will appreciate if you have any tip to solve this. Thanks in Advance.

When we do changes to a cars CCF we have the full vehicle spec by Vin and "Asbuild" details so we know exactly what fields need changing based on a cars specification.
As I have neither for your specific vehicle I have no idea why its not working. If certain other fields are inactive because of your vehicle spec, the feature you are trying to activate will not work.
4x4i is a complicated activation and requires a SW update which we will offer when ready. MY15

Speed Camera (Fixed, Average Red Light) and Red Light Camera locations available for L359 MY13 onwards with IAM 2.1 Infotainment with Navigation.
Warnings for these can be set up within POI's for all or selected Cameras. Warning chime on approach to selected cameras aswell as indication on map.
Available as a file upload for MY14 cars onwards, prior to this a software update is required to the IAM which is also available.
Been using this and it's super handy.
Obviously the more up to date your navigation files are (I'm running 2016) then the more accurate the warnings.
Cambo can provide the necessary software/file upgrades if your interested

In the west side of the Blue Mountains there are a average speed cameras. Can the setup cope with this as well? Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

There's really no need to look at the screen as the audible warning comes through the infotainment system to warn you about speed camera's or traffic light cameras. But it's very clear your approaching any camera and the more you zoom out the more warning you have. It's very clear on the map.

Covers Variable, fixed, and average speed cameras so basically everything but a "man in a van"

I'll try and post a sneaky pic with the Navigation in normal mode as the pics i've taken were in "Browse" mode with all the distraction of options available from that screen MY15

Hi everyone,

First of all thanks to all contributors to this thread for a genuinely interesting and rewarding read; good to see progress made, especially with some of the retrofits @stuartc has done!

I’m not new to re-coding cars to enable features ( done a lot on my M135) but i am new to Landrovers and SDD specifically... just got a couple of questions to throw out there?

1) Pretty sure I have gotten my head around places to acquire SDD and a compatible lead ( Topix Subscripton / eBay) both legitimate and not so legitimate! I know the last few versions online download is required of configuration files from central serves but I don’t understand how these would be available to the older offline versions? Ie The build configuration of my car. Is this storage on the car are retrievable? This is what happens on BMWs. You the edit the config and upload the new changed config.
2) As I understand it certain features and selectable on and off from SDD ( same as on BMW’s) but others may need a manual text edit of the config file to then able selection / De-selection? And in some of stuartc ‘s upgrades actually using other builds / platforms ( ie Evoque) to download and replace / merge sections of your own cars configuration. If, like me, you don’t have access to other cars what are the options? Are these available for download / purchase/ beer tokens?
3) some of the upgrades done here are ones I certainly would like to try ( reversing camera / Lazy Entry / Headrest Screens) ... would the steps to enable be apparently once I have the software and re-read some of the posts ( ie field names to search for) or has stuartc made something very hard look easy? Granted I can tell a lot of time and frustration has gone into everything!

Can anyone confirm how to get paddle shift on a Freelander 2, mine is a 2014 metropolis. I saw the link to topix but the link seems to depict a evoque steering wheel?? Also what is needed then, some kind of activation via software to make it work??

"Paddle Shifters" needs to be enabled in the CCF then the paddle shifters plug into the existing switch packs.
