United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Baltic Blue
Front roof seam cover loose

Hi,
While washing my FR 2 MY13 I noticed that the front section of the seam cover (the bit that gets taken off to fit roof rails) was loose. On lifting it up there is a rubber seal underneath but there appears no way of fixing it back in place. The one on the nearside is firmly fixed. There are no holes in the bodywork that would take a fixing as far as I can see.

Is there a way of fixing them down or was it done with silicone or something similar?

Thanks 2013 GS Baltic Blue - part exchanged now for Volvo V40

Isn't it just double-sided tape? I think I've had them come off in the past, and just taped them back on. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Thanks PM,there is nothing under the plastic strip, seems odd there is no sign of an old fixing of any type. 2013 GS Baltic Blue - part exchanged now for Volvo V40
