What to look out for?

I'm looking at a Freelander 2 today, might buy it. Anything specific I should look out for or ask?

It's a 2010 model. Am I correct that after 2009 the rear diffs are better and less likely to fail?

Thanks

Check under wheel arches the rubber protectors warp and corrosion can start, seat bases are prone to wear, make sure all doors lock and unlock and open from inside and out also tailgate, check Windows go up and down apart from that listen for any noises when driving or turning etc all the basics, good luck.

Test drove it today. Spot on about the wheel arches warping, thanks for that. This particular one wasn't in the best condition so I'm going to pass, but keep looking and hopefully the right one will come up.
