Yes definitely all my problems with the Evoque were down to the accident damage. On further inspection there were further problems... bad paintwork with drips and bubbles, misaligned passenger door, damaged inside edge of front alloy,
If the LR dealer had done the approved used inspection properly they would have picked up on it all, they even failed to service it !! Unfortunately I could only go back to the same dealer to resolve but I had LR Customer service support on my side.
Yes it was definitely smaller than the the FL2, interior, boot, roof height the lot.... but its not pretending to be a FL2 either.
Ride was harder on the 20's but the suspension is stiffer on them anyway and it has a strut brace as standard to stiffen the body more.
But I would still have another one tomorrow.

Thats quite brutal! Shocked

I like them!
But looking at the comparisons from the photos above it wouldn’t be practical for me.

Ive got a 6 stone dog,..and he’s not sitting on the seats thats for sure lol.

No performance upgrades Laughing I've owned it from new so do not want to void the warranty. The exhaust is a fully polished stainless steel system from DPF back. Its not any different to the stock exhaust noise level wise.

Hey mate!

Hope your well.

I noticed you have had the xenon headlight conversion? How did you go about it?
I’ve been obviously reading up about it, and because of the difference with connections i have to buy adaptors basically.
I was told that by the guy i bought the headlights from that this guy on eBay that specialises in this field was the best to got too.
Ive seen this guy before and ordered them up!£250 slaps in the face lol,the reason i say that is after having GREAT difficulty to find anyone to use they’re autologic tool, to tell the car that its now using HID instead of Halogen,I found a helpful guy thats booked me in on tuesday! Thumbs Up Delighted with that! But he’s confident i’ll not need any different connectors??
I’m just a little confused on which is the best way to approach this mate tbh lol.
The boy thats doing them has never done a freelander 2 though, but has done loads of disco 4’s.

Any input as always is much appreciated

JF

Mine is a MY14 car with MY15 Xenons. So the headlamps were essentially the same connecters. Plug and play job all that was required was the CCF’s for xenons to be enabled. I went to see Mikey in Dundee MMP.

What year xenon headlamps do you have? MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Ah right i see.
Theres probably a good chance your connections are of a newer type.
They’re at my work or i would check the exact info, but the they’re brand new out the box.
Im using a guy at Engine 710 at south Queensferry.

Thanks

JF

My connectors are the newer type. The facelifted led headlights came out in late 2012. The only difference in them and an MY15 headlamp externally is the white reflector is now black.

If you have the facelifted headlamps then they will not be plug and play. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
