Brazil 2008 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Barolo Black
sensor Map - LR2 - I6 petrol

Hi people.
Somebody know how to remove a map sensor in the LR2 I6 petrol, but only the sensor and not the full manifold.

Robareva,

It looks like it has a plastic clip that holds it in.

Just remove the electrical connection and rotate the sensor.

I haven't tried so I cant say that I can get my hands on the MAP

Where exactly is the MAP sensor located? I know I saw it when I removed the intake manifold to replace the alternator but now I can't seem to find it. After replacing the alternator I'm still getting P0108 MAP High Voltage error code.

I thinks that is in the location shown in the picture.

But I haven't changed mine so I cant be sure
