Keeping car interior cooler when its warm outside

Short of a garage, car port or leaving the windows down, I've started using the windscreen cover I use to protect against frost in winter.

It's fairly basic and you just trap it in the doors. Shiny silver surface which reflects the heat with the white side facing inwards. Makes a big difference and stops the intense heat fading the dashboard or directly hitting the dashcam.

I do treat the dashboard with Meguiars dashboard cleaner which has 3M Scotchguard protection against UV but the cover gives even better protection on that front. Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
