Freelander 2/ Evoque alloy wheel

Would anyone know if a Freelander 2 17" alloy wheel would fit an Evoque for use as an emergency full size spare?

Ive been offered a free FL2 alloy and if it works I will have it but dont want to bother taking it if its a waste of time.

I know the stud pattern is correct and folk put Evoque wheels on FL2s but havent seen it mentioned the other way around

Put it on and check for clearance. the Evoque has a slightly wider track, caused by the offset on the wheel being greater, as stated above, so the wheel could possibly rub. If you need a spacer I have a couple of brand new 5mm spacers (bespoke, not the rubbish "universal ones"). Advertised previously but no takers, so drop me a pm if you want one for the cost of the p&p. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Ive measured the FL2 wheel and its inner tyre wall is 5mm further in than the Evoque wheel so its 5mm closer to the strut upright but theres around 15mm clearance at present so Im assuming the wheel will still be clear, but I will do a trail fit tomorrow as the wheels are coming off to fit mudflaps anyway.
Ive sold my FL2, my second, for an Evoque, thats the reason I was asking, and it came with an inflation kit as standard which are a waste of time in my opinion.
Thanks for the answers. Thumbs Up

Bear in mind that that gap will change at extremes of articulation.
I faced the same option with my DS, which is why I bought the spacers, but then I was able to get a cheap Evoque wheel (fits the DS) and sold my FL2 wheels. As above, if you want to be certain it will fit you're welcome to one of the spacers. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Tried the FL2 17" alloy wheel on the Evoque to use as an emergency get me home only spare, it does fit both front and rear no spacers needed at least 10mm clearance at its closest fouling point, so its a good un, fits in the boot well now Ive removed the polystyrene stowage tray with plenty of room around it for the wheel brace, jack and a couple of wheel chocks, only thing is the wheel is slightly higher than the boot floor level when in about an 1" or so so the floor panel will no longer fit in flush, I left it out and I have a cargo floor mat/tray which sits over the wheel, not ideal but it doesnt affect the luggage capacity any really and Id sooner have this than a thin space saver or the liquid repair kit.
Thanks for your replies. Thumbs Up
