Drivers side wing mirror has its own memory

Recently I've noticed my driver side wing mirror has got a memory of it's own. When I press the memory seat button for my seating position it appears to stop at a different settting each time. I have to adjust it all the time to the correct setting. I have even saved the wing mirror glass but it still doesn't save it. The passanger mirror glass is fine and sets at the correct setting.

Any ideas Whistle

I paid £355 for speccing memory seats too. Laughing MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

TBH I found the auto dipping mirror on mine to be a PITA so I disabled them. I thought they were meant to be linked to the seat memory but they didn't seem to retain the position I set.

Im normally the only one who drives it anyway so not an issue although my son is borrowing it this weekend to go to airsoft on Catterick Training Area so it will not only be interesting to check out the memory function but also the state of my FL2 after the weekend Laughing

I often wore a parachute, but thankfully never won my Irvin badge as I had no intention of jumping until it became the safer option.....

Ive been to airsoft once (his birthday prezzie to me) and to be honest it was a really good laugh even if there were a few strange characters there!. Really enjoyed it for the day (even if I did come back with pellet marks all over my forehead Laughing )

As someone who was a cold war warrior (medals in drinking and (attempting to) pull German women in bars) I never got the opportunity to run around like that for real so it was a chance to harmlessly play soldiers.

Never used the auto dipping mirrors. I activated them today and the drivers mirror dipped as it should but it failed to retract back up to the saved memory position when I drove forward. I'm assuming the memory module has packed in. Just as well I have extended warranty. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Remove negative and positive terminals (in that order) from the battery. Touch both together.
May not work but it's the closest thing to a "reset" without connecting to SDD which is the first thing dealer will do...CAN reset. MY15
