This one, at the moment in front on the deal but I have paid for or done lots of extra maintenance over and above the basic servicing required so I may not be any better off in real terms yet so only time will tell . FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

My dealer told me this. Best thing is to call out LR Assist and let them diagnose the fault at home, say that you are worried that it's ok to drive the vehicle. They then sort out a courtesy car. The problem for dealers is having enough courtesy cars hence the wait but if LR Assist are involved they get a car for you and also pressure the dealer to get the fault fixed asap as they are paying for the hire. I have done this at least four times. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto 5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE |

I called out Land Rover Assist (part of my warranty) and within 2 hours a technician arrived. Half an hour later after downloading the fault codes and communicating with the service techs, the diagnosis was an oil pump failure on the Haldex.
