It's not locked but won't start until I have disconnected the battery for a few mins .i have had an update on the software and is going to get another update on mon morning however I have just realised that when I take the key fob out and I turn the steering wheel the lock is not on and this is when on starting car again the fault comes on
Any ideas thanks

Latest on steering column locked
Just had latest softwares put on from Land Rover and the fault is still there every couple of days I need to take battery off to start car.
I've got it booked into a Land Rover specialist in 2 weeks for them to have a look at can't think of anything I can try in the meantime,

Difficult to say as my fault was slightly different fault. My one would not start even after disconnecting the battery. You could test for a supply pulse to the lock module. I will let you know what wire in a short moment. If power there and the earth is good it is a good indication that's the fault.

My one stopped sending power all together which kind of threw me off. So if no pulse present its not a sign it's not the module.

Orange and green pulse signal and black should be ground.

Blue and white is CAN LIN can't really change that without sdd.
