improoving factory's door seals etc.

Has anyone tried to improve door seals by adding new seals or by filling existing seals with rubber ropes?

I saw many clever ideas on local Dacia forum, I am appreciate their ideas even not being Dacia owner.

I know Freelander has much better factory noise isolation than Dacia but I think we although would able to deal some unnecessary wind noise. MY2011 TD4 S Manual
