Reupholstery

Going to reupholster cloth seats in mine, instead of going down the common route of leather/leather effect, I was thinking of maybe going down this line. My interior is the grey and beige colour, so was thinking if I can get a tartan with colours similar to those in it and then the brown like on these. What's your thoughts guys?

Personally I think you must be mad Laughing

But each to their own and it will certainly individualise your FL2....... not sure how the next owner will interpret it though Very Happy

Nowt wrong with tartan guys and you don't need to be Scottish to appreciate it, but at least you've took the time to give feedback, lots of views but only your 2 replies, think the others were frightened off. I think I'll probably go down a safer route 😁

As RogB says, the issue you may have is when you decide to sell the vehicle. There is nothing wrong with personalizing stuff but it adds no value, best thing to do is decide how long you want to keep the car once the re upholstery has been done.

Love it! will fit perfectly with the out side, i dont think it will make big difference when you come to sell it, VW golf GTI and GTD models have something similar and people are buying them

yes but that's because the early retro Golf GTI were fitted with chequered seats so its a nostalgia thing....

I do like a nice Golf GTI with those in though Very Happy

Nothing wrong with a nice bit of tartan. Wink

I like the one in the first pic, really think it would suit your unique FL2.
IMO, what you'd lose on the ones who don't like it, you'll gain on the ones who do (and like a bit of individualism.)

Go for it. Thumbs Up FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.
