Been given Halfords vouchers and looking st buying this dash camera and fitting
Anyone have any experience please of these camera's and fittting service?
Looks like main difference is 312 has wireless which I don't really need.

Have one of these" Bought it from Costco before Christmas "
Seems to work very well picture quality very good , took 10 minutes to fit, test and has not missed a beat ,
Backup battery not last long though
Mine is mounted to the left of rear view mirror,seems to be ideal place .
Took me longer to read the manual .!!!😆😆 Wales
Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
(And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! )

The Nextbase looks like a pretty basic system. But if it's basic recording you want....................

On the car I've just sold I had a Thinkware F750 2 channel system. As well as continual loop recording, it had all sorts of capabilities like recording while the car is parked to watch for someone bumping into your car. One of the neatest features for me was a manual record button which saves to a separate file, 10 seconds before you pressed record and 20 seconds after. So if you see wildlife in the road or a stunning view as you round a corner, press record and you get the photo after downloading that file from the camera. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

I've got a 312gw and am really pleased with it, I don't use the wi-fi function on it but the feature this have that the 212 doesn't is a GPS mount so it records your location (co-ordinates) on the recording.
I can't say anything about the Halfords fitting service as I fitted the hardwire kit myself.

After seeing 2 'kids' sorry 'staff'at my local branch yanking at the bumper of a car to try free the headlight to fit a bulb I'm not sure I'd trust them with my interior trim. 2007 TD4 XS Manual in Sumatra Black

312 GW - Happy with mine but not had another to compare with. I just ran the cable along top of sun visor, into door seal out next to seat and under seat and plugged into cig lighter. If I do not want it on just pull out of cig lighter.

Also chose not to show speed on record  FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current

I also have the 312GW really impressed with it . Hard wired mine so comes on and goes off with the ignition.
Also like it has the magnetic mount so you dont have to take the screen mount and wiring out when left in a carpark.
I bought a cheap bag of bay to store in when not in use.
