We can see yours is an 08 TD4 Auto. Was it starting ok previously? Has it been serviced/worked on before this problem occurred? If so, what? What is the mileage? 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

.
Diesel. iv just had a throttle control valve fitted at the dealers
The next day the car just cut out

I got my freelander 2 back from the L R dealers today as it was recovered by them on Tuesday morning .
After cutting out on me and refused to start and coming up HDC code
I'm informed the problem was a crank shaft sensor the car is now running ok
It was a long weekend running about in my 1965 2A
Thanks for the help

Almost certainly your failure to start is connected to something done during the throttle valve change. I presume you are getting the HDC warning when cranking. This is merely a response of lower voltage due to starter load and unlikely to be connected. Contact your dealer. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

That piece of string at last and now its a tow rope back to the numpty that fitted your part wrong. give no wiggle room to charge you. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
