Bonnet Badge Lettering

I am putting the question out there for ideas for when I get my Freelander 2 bonnet re-sprayed into Stornoway Grey (to replace the horrible cracking paintwork it currently has).

While it is being resprayed, of course it needs to be de-badged.
The lettering is currently Brunel grey, which doesn't look too bad really.

What colour lettering do you think looks best? "We're in danger, we've got to get out."
"What are you talking about?"
"I've been called a ponce."

I would keep it as is! Unless you are getting the grill and side vents finished in gloss black then I would opt for gloss black lettering. Some of the copies will fade overtime. I have seen many LRs up here with the silver lettering and after year 3 there is visible signs of it fading!

Genuine lettering will outlive the cars life expectancy Thumbs Up MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Ok.

Genuine vs copies...
I have seen many copies for around £20.

Any recommended supplier(s)? "We're in danger, we've got to get out."

...That wasn't a very helpful comment.

Not being funny why can't you just pick the lettering yourself ?

Ultimately I will pick the lettering myself.
I just wanted to see what other people have done with theirs and some guidance with what would look good. "We're in danger, we've got to get out."

I politely gave you "guidance" telling you copies will fade after a few years! Yet you choose to ignore my advice! MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I am in your position at the moment. I had my bonnet resprayed last week whilst I was having a facelift front bumper fitted. I removed the old letters carefully so I can reuse them. I am thinking of having them painted gloss black to match the new grille surround

When I replaced my silver letters for black I decided to space them out a bit more - in line with the end of the grill spars.
To me it seems the natural positioning that LR should've used.
Also gives the impression [to me] of widening the bonnet slightly.

I haven't ignored anybody's advice- the thing isn't even at the spray shop yet!

Guidance is all welcome, although I'm still un-decided yet between Brunel grey or black.

I'm not upgrading my grille though- not any time soon anyway, so Brunel grey is looking most likely.
I'm surprised more haven't suggested chrome- given that the grille is silver. Would it look bad? "We're in danger, we've got to get out."
