Lift kit

After a long time of considering the pros and cons I finally dared it!
I had a 30mm suspension lift done. Very Happy

Good man!

You have gone for larger spacers than I have - I fitted my spacers about 3 months ago now - I fitted 20mm spacers at the front and 25mm at the rear and am very pleased with the result.

I do the Green Road runs in Scotland and it now means I can do the events which are considered not suitable for Freelanders or Evoques Very Happy I always follow someone with a winch equipped Defender to help out IF required but have not required any help so far......

My larger 245/70 X 17 General Grabber All Terrain tyres added about another 25mm height and I find they are a good off / on road compromise.

What size of tyres are you running?

I haven´t gone for spacers , I had a different set of springs fitted.
I haven´t changed the tyres though, it´s still 235/65R17 Continental CrossContact AT.

Good to hear that, cqr. Very Happy

You will keep some souvenirs though. Wink Freelander 2 XE TD4_e, Lago Grey, manual, MY 2010

Hi Greenlander, looks great. Can you tell me about the additional lights next to the fogs, how do they function? Thanks. Rich.

Thank you, cqr! Very Happy
All the answers now:

@ cqr:
It´s the set of springs I mentioned earlier in this thread.

http://www.stockundstein.com/rubriken-a-z/...-inkl-tuev

The ride is still comfortable although the oil in the shock absorbers was changed for compensating the added height.

@ ronp:
I bought it from a German company but I think it´s from MANTEC.

@RichP:

These are the TwinPod lights one can buy from Land Rover (part no LR004088).
Since the Freelander2 ran out of production Big Cry they have become very cheap because some dealerships have started to clear their stocks from Freelander stuff.
They are connected to the main beams and can be switched on additionally.
I just fitted them because a wanted to retrofit those LED fog lights my vehicle hadn´t had before. Freelander 2 XE TD4_e, Lago Grey, manual, MY 2010
