Coxes River/Bowtells Swing Bridge weekend

I'm planning to check out one of Mike's suggestions for a short trip in the Blue Mountains. On Saturday 12th March I'll be at Coxs River Campground, tubing in the river, roasting BBQ and drinking merry red wine. If anyone likes to join me there I'll be happy to make acquaintance. I walked the six foot track when I was younger and I know the country there is wonderful. I dare hope Mike (the legend) himself could join me, as well as any of our new friends from Canberra (you know who you are).

Sorry about the short notice, I'm not as well organized as Mike was for our amazing Brindabella trip: https://veskopetrov.com/brindabella-trip/.

Cheers! Smile

Sorry mate, I'm already booked up for chores this weekend by my personal slave driver....not enough warning. Crying or Very sad It's a nice drive too, no risk of panel damage and 3 or 4 creek crossings. On the way out try Waterfall Creek trail (dry weather only). Some good steep bits that you will have no trouble with, and a side track to Gibraltar Rocks lookout that is worth the drive if a bit rocky.

Pity, too short a notice I know, but I'll try Waterfall Creek trail and if I get some nice images and/or a good story, I'll report back.

Cheers mate, some other time eh.
