Thanks for the offer, almost decided on a nice FR2 hse that has just about everyone except a tow bar.
I'm in folkestone so would have to be exceptional condition and spec,
Is it in a dealers? Wha price my budget is 10k

£10k might be a little tight for a good HSE. I have been offered £11k straight trade buy for mine-07 HSE, 38k miles. I'm sure you can haggle some off the asking price of the one above but nearly £2k is ambitious.

That's good. I was only offered £7.5k for my 57 plate HSE in p/x against a £35k Range Rover. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

My son got £9k for his 60 reg GS with 78k miles in exchange for a new Mitsubishi L200. Car has now appeared on an independent 4x4 retailer lot for £12495. Probably needed some new tyres as I swapped the best ones onto my FL2. Very Happy 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Darryl,
Thanks for the interest, I'm still looking, I was hoping some member was going for a trade in, and wanted to see it go to a good home,
I looked at a few on dealers but they were either edgy or overprice for my budget, the UK market amazes me, I am driving a 2005 s-type diesel jaguar worth nothing that I cant fault, only want to change as I would feel a plonker towing a caravan with it.
So hopefully some member will come up with something.

Stan

Hi Stan,

I was just going through my post history and wondered how you are getting on? Have you found yourself the right car?

We're still finding it difficult to decide whether or not to sell our car because we like it so much.

Hope all well, best regards,

Darryl

Hi Darryl,

Well going to pick up a 2008 hse on monday,

Has everything I need except tow bar, not sure about Bluetooth never checked as always been standard on my other cars.
One thing I found that cars with tow bars seem to put off a number of buyers, I looked at quite a few that had them removed.

How's the motorhome going, as long as you like caravans get or camping you won't regret buying it beleave me, had many and have a class a and a caravan at the moment

Have you still got the wheels?

Stan

Hope you enjoy yours theyre nice cars Ive had another even though a lot went wrong with my previous one and that never towed either. Thumbs Up

I wasn't referring to any forum members, was talking about dealers.

Deuteronomiser, has a lovely one for sale, and it really has only towed a small boat, I would have loved it, but it was a bit above my budget.
