Day light running lights

Why dont car manufacturers include the rear lights ,its really not safe the amount of cars on the road in bad weather thinking they have their lights on,with the back of the car not lit up ,Also its the fog light season all the Clowns driving about with front fogs on ,Wish i had a Gun

I think it will come when someone of importance is rammed up the backside for not having rear lights on, until then carry on as normal, it always takes a disaster before folk realise, hey weve got to do something about this.

Ahh, but then the numpties turn on the sidelights so they can have rear lights on, but this turns off the DRLs making them even less visible. Censored

My Volvo V40 had the sides on with the DRLs - it was actually quite hard to do it wrong. Why can't they all do it that way?
