Hmm, looks newer than a MY07 Wink

I jetted mine with the washer, wasn't going to get any soap out as it will be dirty again within minutes round here!

Actually keeping the wheels in their box is a good way to keep them like new.

I had a friend who used to keep his Triumph Herald hub caps in his airing cupboard wrapped in his underpants so they stayed in pristine condition, the rest of his car fell to bits but his caps remained immaculate as new. Laughing

As above, looks stunning. Do you normally remove your number plates to clean the car? I think mine use double sided tape. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

I'll be interested to see the shiny under tray (or whatever it's called) when fitted. I can't decide whether to get one or not, I presume it's just a straight swap for the plastic bits.

Did you clay first? Looking good!!

Yeah, I'd like to know how you get that shine and what you use?

Looks to have used a green polishing pad on a DA polisher, with a bottle of yellow polish

Then at a guess, Wink (unless he has swapped waxes) Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax, which i seem to recall Mav71 using in the past Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

No not normally, mine are also stuck on, but I changed the number plate to a smaller one. Thumbs Up

I'll get a picture when I move the car. It has been parked in front of the house since Saturday and won't more again till probably next Tuesday.

But it is two pieces that fit over the top of the original covers.

Snow foam and wash first. Then I used a 4" pad on a machine polisher with Poor Boys Swirl Remover.

Then a coat of Poorboys Black hole glaze and finished with a coat of DoDo Juice Super Natural Hybrid Wax!

You know me so well Nick! Thumbs Up Bow down Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
