Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red

I have had 2 seven seat cars over 9 yrs . Only once in that time that all seven seats where used on a family day out . On one other ocation the seven seats where used , a funeral. The main reason for get a seven seater was the boot space . Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

mine was 2010 model not one 8 years old a different animal altogether. maybe a little revision on freelanders and how they have altered from 8 years ago would be appropriate for you to check first.

Also if you read my previous posts you would have seen i did say i could only do a comparison with my x freelander Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

It's still based on the original platform that came out in 2006 that could not have 7 seats but you fail to see that, your just comparing a new design against an eight year old design at the end of the day, regardless of yours being a 2010. Rolling Eyes

Or your just comparing your Nissan against the four year old one you had, hardly a fair comparison. Rolling Eyes

Ah, Nissan, the company that can now only make 4WD versions with manual boxes, not with an auto box
Nissan, the company which is having so much issues with their auto box, should probably look at only producing manual cars
But what can you expect from a company owned by Renault?.......

The X-Trail 1.6 litre diesel produces 96kW at 4000 & 320Nm at 1750 and is gutless below 2000rpm. it's a CVT which is slow to react, which has to move 1562kg tare weight!

I have an Xtrail but for some reason want a Landy again (I have had a Disco, FL1, Range Rover, P5 and a couple of P6s). They have mainly been unreliable but I think that has to be taken for granted!
The xtrail is excellent in all respects but isn,t a Freelander...I want a Tambora auti HSE but they don't seem to exist Crying or Very sad

Only fair comparison would be with the 2015 7 seater Nissan and the 2015 7 seater freelander AKA Discovery Sport. Whistle

Not changing your oil for 16k miles, that can't be good . I can't believe oil is any good after that distance.

Nah........it's fine.

My lawnmower is over 20 years old, and never had an oil service (or spark plug/filter change) in its entire life.

Starts first time, every time.

I like to change my oil between 6 and 8k, oil wasn't so good in the old days. Know what you mean about the lawnmower though, sometimes leave it for a couple of years. Laughing
