I had some scuffs to my steering wheel so have covered it with a perforated leather skin, it's a custom skin designed to fit just the freelander 2 steering wheels. Incase anyone was thinking of doing the same here are some photos of how effective it is. I must say I'm very impressed, it's easy to do yourself (just time consuming) and gives a very snug custom fit. They come in different colours of leather and a choice of stitching. The kit was only £15 which is a bonus too

Will do! I was a bit unsure as to how well it would actually fit but I have to say I'm very impressed. Apart from the spokes it really does look/feel like a factory finish. Ive double threaded it so I can't imagine the thread will come undone. I'll report back in a couple months or so with images on how well it's holding up.

Thanks, it was bought on eBay its Mr Steering. User account is customsteering. Only £15odd so a relatively cheap fix/upgrade. Not 100% on if it would fit a 2013 model so best check with them, I'm sure they'll supply one that would fit though. It took about and hour and a half to do, could get it done in an hour if I did it again though.

Quick update, the steering wheel skin is still great, no signs of wear and the double stitching is holding up perfectly. I'm very happy with it, and for the cost you really can't go wrong! Will update in a month with pictures to show how it's wearing etc
