You can buy a teeshirt with DIESEL written on it you know? Ive seen them for all those folk who put petrol in by mistake so they remember next time, think you can get one from NEXT or TopMan. Thumbs Up

Ah sorry there, Drain tank, strip fuel system, (retain small amount of fluid to prove I was a donkey ). Flush system, replace fuel filter, part fill system start vehicle, run, shut down remove fuel filter and fit another ( my request) drain tank, flush system refill with clean fuel and run. Take up motorway above 3k rpm to clean dpf.

That about sums up what they did, and they did this around all the work they had booked in, also they were a man short due to annual leave.

They really were top fellas. My11 freelander 2, xs, Manual, 18" hse sparkles, sidesteps, privacy, zermatt silver metallic, almond nutmeg alacantra, twin electric towbar

Landiroamer I'll probably get one that says, dick or stupid or something else derogatory. But thank you for the idea. My11 freelander 2, xs, Manual, 18" hse sparkles, sidesteps, privacy, zermatt silver metallic, almond nutmeg alacantra, twin electric towbar

Saw a one of these companies do this once, undo the pipes by the Fuel Filter, add an extension to the pipe, and place the end in a suitable container, open the filler cap, pressurise the tank, all the fuel comes out into the container. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

They probably did Sumat similar, but they changed the filter as that was full of fuel, and as its a return to filter system I wanted it changing.

All I know is they got me oot the Censored . My11 freelander 2, xs, Manual, 18" hse sparkles, sidesteps, privacy, zermatt silver metallic, almond nutmeg alacantra, twin electric towbar

On the FR1 it was even easier: undo pipe union in engine bay, switch on ignition, pump out (a full tank of) petrol with the electric fuel pump, refill tank with diesel. Can't do that on a FR2 alas. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.
