United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Firenze Red

I was overtaken by one on the M6 today. I saw it in the mirror way back in the distance - thinks is it a RR ? nope, a RRS ? nope , an Evoque even ? nope. I realised what is was as I read the lettering on the rear. Its very nice looking on the road but all very corporate LR. At least the Disco still looks different.
It must be a fine line for manufacturers - creating a brand image and also making the cars individual. Audi and BMW definitely struggle with it. My BMW 3 looks just like a small 5 of the same age. Jules

Parked up beside a new vehicle today and the harse end was so ugly I thought it must be a DS, but no it was actually a new Range Rover Sport! Oh dear, I didn't think they were that bad.
I am well off message with the JLR design team stylists these days........ but then I think the Disco 3 looks much better than the D4 so what do I know......

had a test drive in one yesterday, HSE automatic.

must say I was very impressed with the automatic and even although I prefer a manual, this was very sweet

could be tempted by the auto !!

The dealer has a 'horrible orangey' one in the showroom, looks quite nice with the black pack Wink

The black pack makes the DS look like a cheap, tacky drug dealer special! Ugh!

Saw one in dealer showroom.....beige colour with beige interior....if that's meant to entice customers it's really not going to work! 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

Only seen the ones in the showroom, if you've got a dog that chews everthing watch out for those seat-belts in the boot (or get a cage).
On the way to Exeter did see a Range-Rover with COSWORTH on the bonnet. 11 GS Bali Blue
07 GS FL2. Usually muddy. Gone
Numerous LRs since 1963

You Fl2 boys still out number us though Wink

@D-Man, The beige colour with beige interior is a popular option, so it must work. Much prefer the beautiful Loire blue though

Loire blue looks much nicer. Beige/beige.....is that a design for OAPs? Smile 2011 SD4 HSE Auto
