There are a couple holes in the bottom off door
There may be sand and mud blocking them if it's been used off road

Try a search on the forum - there are threads dealing with leaking sunroofs and drains. I'm not sure where they are, but there are drains which can get blocked and leak.

I see you have an SE which will have a sunroof. One of the drains is likely blocked. Search is your friend. Took me 30 secs.

Found another thread that suggest that the Drain Tubes from the Sunroof run down the B Pillar, accessed by removing the B Pillar Trim. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Hi i'm new to freelanders and haven't looked closely at my sunroof seals yet as mine are bone dry but surely if the unit is relying on the drains to keep the interior dry then there is something wrong with the main sunroof seal. Landrover and other manufactures added drains primarily to remove any surface water when the sunroof is opened especially when its tilted

what holes you talking about cqr? I had wet rear passenger footwell a few weeks ago (no sunroof) so went looking for gutter drain etc, took loads of trim off and found nothing lol - water was only on carpet surface too, hadn't seemed to sink through to the floor pan...

I have never worked out LR and sun roofs, I have had many cars from 1937 model year to the present with sunroofs and never had a leak until my 1997 Disco, once that went, again no problems, and none with the FL2, hope it stays that way Very Happy my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Think I sorted it

Hi all thanks for replies, think I might of found it removed drivers side sun visor, grab handle, and the plastic piece of the seat belt pulled down roof liner and could see the tube was dislodged from plastic fitting, just had enough room to squeeze my hand though and reinstate ,should rain soon and I will find out don't want yo wash it ,the wife will think theirs something wrong either me.lol.

Mine came adrift on the passenger side. The symptoms were identical though so I am sure you have fixed it Thumbs Up

Back again, yes it has rained and yes water came back in,took roof liner down again a little bit more, the tube that goes on the pipe is fairly loose so trimmed about 1cm of it hopefully a tighter fit,as I think it was really loose fit.tried to follow the tube to see where it goes and I can see it goes down towards the back wheel but can't see where it comes out.any ideas.

Try gaining access to the pipe again, and blowing it through with an air line. Alternatively fit a small funnel in it and pour water through to see where it comes out. There may be mud or crXp blockage at the other end. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
