Agreed, I don't really see it as a design feature for reducing drag. Wink

I'm not so sure, I mean the rest of the car is really streamlined, looks like it was designed in a wind tunnel Whistle

I suppose if you were literally in the middle of nowhere and had no use at all for them you might fold them but I think that's more taking advantage of a standard design. All cars could claim an aerodynamic improvement due to reduced frontal area for folding mirros too, so it isn't even unique

Seem to remember arguments between manufacturers in the 80's on CD factors, some quoting with, and some without wing mirrors in their futile arguments to prove one car was more streamlined than another, irrespective of the fuel consumption Laughing my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Must of changed on the newer ones, think all the old ones are same and set to a speed limit for the mirrors, the motors don't seem all that strong maybe they uprated them Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto

Mine dont close at any speed... I have to be under 10mph to fold but mine do open - never checked to see the max for that though...

So the OBD port is where ?

Any mobile phone with bluetooth or a particular type/system ? My phone would not do it for sure.
