United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Izmir Blue

Interesting, these reports just fuel the hype about 4x4's being bad. Like so many posts on the forum it is about how you drive not what you drive. In the 2 weeks I have had my car I have now done almost 500 miles and still not had to refuel, averaging about 37mpg. My wife's 1.2 punto with much lower tax bracket only manages 39 MPG.

People that buy 4x4's are looking for something a little different, LR's answer is a battery hybrid. Not sure if thats the right answer though

By the way, not sure about the new colour

Couln't agree more, I have an auto TD4 and average 33-34mpg for my 100 mile daily commute and my wife's 1.4 manual clio only gets 37-38mpg (granted this is town driving) but it's not much of a difference!
