Dear Santa...

Dear Santa
This year I have mostly been a good boy so I am hoping you will bring me a remote controlled plane for my present.
I will leave a mince pie for you and a carrot for Rudolph.
Merry Christmas.
Aero.

Wow, that was awesome! You'd best ask for an oil field and refinery as well so you can make your own aviation fuel!

There is a flying club in Blackburn, the have the use of Witton Park on a Sunday morning for flying, there are some fantastic planes there to be watched, one is a very fast delta wing type craft.
They also run indoor flying over the winter, the local academy have a large enough hall, the noise must be terrible though Shocked

Here's one of the jets that can be regularly seen, quite a large piece of kit, I am hazarding a guess that this isn't used indoors Confused

quite impressive, he must have good vision as it went out of sight a few times or was a pin prick in the sky

The only time i have seen one was when i was down in Cornwall, at St Merryn and the field opposite the caravan site there was a small jet flying about, there quite good to watch, especially the Helicopter ones that just bounce about defying gravity Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Are they bought as a complete unit or in kit form?

I fancy one of those, it's finding the time to muck around things these days. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Surprised the audience is allowed to stand so close.

Given the speed, size, and fuel content of the aircraft an accident/handling failure could easily cause death and serious injury.

I have no knowledge at all of RC planes, but I am pretty sure you buy these new in kit form and build and paint to your own spec. I'm not buying one, as I posted my letter to Lapland this morning Laughing

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Went to Wing & Wheels event at Wellsbourne in June. Apart from the Vulcan XM655 doing start up, taxy and take off runs (not cleared to fly) there was a r/c model Vulcan that must have been about 8-10 foot long doing flying display. Awesome! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
