Would've been a nice Freelander

Just think this would've been the ideal replacement for the Freelander.
Still keeps the looks of the FL2, but has the more modern/corporate LR lines.

FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Looking at the stepped roof, that may well echo the next Full Fat Discovery?

Much better than the DS! Needs smaller wheels though - nowhere near enough sidewall in those tyres.

JLR have really started to soften the brand looks wise! I will never go for the DS and I'm not really sure what I will part ex my dynamic in for when the time comes Big Cry MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
MY15 Xenon Headlight Conversion

MY17 RRS SVR - Estoril Blue Cirrus/Ebony 🪣💺’s

Agreed - for me much better looking than the DS. Looks right ansome, a proper Landrover, wheel at each corner, no bloated harse end.
Think JLR have completely lost the plot after their comments explaining why Jag are also going to do a 4 x 4.
The new Jag 4 x 4 is to be all about style - sorry but is that not what the new DS is all about - 40 grand's worth of Chelsea tractor, seats in the boot for little banker offspring, all bling and electronic bling? The DS and the new Jag will compete against each other -leaving the less expensive Range Rover Evoque as an oddity. Is the Rangey brand not supposed to be the stylish bling bus?
Landrover have all but abandoned the large rugged practical 4 x 4 market.
They have also now abandoned the compact SUV market leaving HiUndy, Mazda, VW etc to gain new customers starting out in the 4 x 4 motoring world.
So what road going car can I buy now for going across the fields with a load of logs or quarter ton of sand in the back -nothing from Landrover for much less than 50 Grand?
Looks like I will have to go Jap or German next time. The Iitchypussy Shogun is a bit rough on the road but well built, reliable, practical and affordable - foreign words in the current Landrover ethos sadly.
