Afternoon all!

I know its been a while, but thought it was time I shared another bargain spot with you all. So here it is, a nice shiny super bright torch!

I've recently started bouldering at night and needed a head torch that I wouldn't be too fussed about as it would be stuffed in a rucksack and generally bounced off sandstone quite often!!

I went for this, 3 x XML CREE including 18650 batteries and leads. All I can say is, having already got a Lenser P7 and P3 for work.....this wins hands down, completely blown away by it.

It clearly isn't the stated lumen output.....I know this. But it's very bright, makes my exploring in the dark very safe!

I've ended up buying 5000mAh batteries and a standalone charger at £15 extra. Its been tested to the max on a few occasions and really done me proud, no niggles to report, well made etc. All I would say is, the 3000mAh that are supplied are good for about 3 hours constant use, so worth looking at the 5000mAh but be careful of fakes on eBay.

What the hell is "bouldering"?

Haha....its a less vertical form of climbing without ropes etc.

Maybe like a scrambling/climb? Just climbing over boulders, up 'safe' faces just in a pair of decent boots!





But in the search for a good place to do it, you get sunsets like this!
