Its such a shame we cant just admire the idea and reflect on the sacrifices made. without it boiling down to tax and earnings

things cost, people have expenses, tax happens,
just remember the fallen

Not only the fallen CG - let's also remember the emotional pain and hardship that often accompanies that loss by those that are left at home grieving. The mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, wives or husbands. They need all the support they can get. And the receipts from the sale of poppies of any kind are most welcomed.

Im fully agreeing but to me the poppies signify the lives lost. At work

Seems to be about cash for the government. They are taking £4.17 for each and every one of the 888,246 that died fighting for this country netting them over 3.7 million quid. VAT on death. Shame on them.

They've just announce they are giving a million quid back. Big deal, they're still copping 2.7 mil. Twisted Evil

The government are waiving the VAT in full, the difference, I believe will be on the recoverable element of the costs of production etc, the 1.1 million is the net receipt.

Some f Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored had one for sale on eBay earlier for double the price, they are being removed as they are discovered.
