got the fl2 is it belt or chain

timing wise belt or chain ,been told differing its a 60 plate manual

Cambelt. 10 years or 150,000 miles.
Seems way to long................
Well, probably stretched by then Whistle Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

I agree that 150k miles seems very long. Other vehicles use the same engine as the FL2 and the interval to change the timing belt on those varies greatly, namely:-

Mondeo 2.2tdci = 125,000 miles
Mitsubishi Outlander 2.2 DI-DC = 75,000 miles
Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi = 140,000 miles

what do Mitsubishi know I wonder?

lad has the L200 just had first mot and due a service been told every 60.000 or 5 years and lass has a fiesta on a 56 plate ,every 10 years ,on the 07 plate its 6
