Following discussions on the forum a couple of weeks ago I have just purchased the centre armrest in real leather for my SE from the Wood Company. I also got about 5% off the basic price and the company is willing to extend this to other members if you mention the Freel2 forum at time of ordering.

Based on the pictures, it looks like this would only work on non-armrest vehicles? |

Not sure whether it fits with standard HSE / leather pack arm rests but Albert Frederik has had some retro fitted. See his gallery on following link:

I think this is a bit overkill with the fitted armrests too.

Very easy to fit .Im 5"11 and the armrest is in the ideal place for me. Mrs G is a lot shorter so when she has the seat forward the armrest is too far back. It does get in the way of the handbrake a little bit but not enough to be a problem. The top pad is a nice thick high density foam. The inner storage is only small but fine for ipod/phone and a few other little things. The only ugly part of the thing is the exposed door hinge when the lid is open. but the outside part of the hinge is cleverly covered in the fake leather material.

My armrest is now on order. Price is as previously quoted by pmcg other than shipping is now 22.5 Euros. Have gone for Alpaca/Alpaca in leather and will post images when received and fitted. |

Agreed the screw does look too long, as if it may dig to deep and jab into something under the console... but mine tightened fully no problems. The rubber mat has a little lip so I managed to fish it out with a finger nail no scratches!.

Once you've got it fitted, let's see some pics. I'm curious about how the adjustable version looks and works. I'm very pleased with mine, it's what your (GB) left arm's for, when not supping a pint. |
