Sorry Andy but took me some time to get the pics uploaded and now i have managed it i seem to of uploaded someone elses pic to lol. I ordered the car from Stratstone in Cooper and i live in Aberdeen, not a wise decision but the guy was very friendly and spent a lot of time on the test drive showing me what the car could do. However i wanted some extras like the body kit and had to chase to ensure they were all on before i picked up the car. This is the first new car i have bought and was reading some of the reports on here and was getting very worried about buying a new car.
We went down to collect the car and the salesman showed me all the bits and pieces and my so had got in the back ready for the journy home but we had to get out the car for some reason an we found that my son could not get out. Well i just burst out laughing and thought here we go this is the start. It turns out that when they fitted the new door handles they forgot to hook one up.
Thankfully that was the only problem and we have now done over 1500 miles so its well bedded in.

Mods i made were sports kit, Tungston paint handles, Silver mirror covers, 19" 10 spoke wheels which make the car i think and now i also added clear indicator lenses which look the part. All together its a good looking car and exactly what i wanted although i had to keep chasing the salesman to make sire he never missed anything out and he did. End result all that i wanted in the car is on and really enjoy the car.

Dave warned me about you and the caravan gang lol. Not sure if the freelander is capable of getting up the hills to scotland towing a box.

An fl2 is fully capable of taking a caravan to Scotland, but hopefully not back into England again.
