LR2 Goes Industrial

My father called me up this morning and asked if I could tow something.

Turns out there is a church carnival he's been helping organize and one of his fellow organizers works for the highway authority. He arranged for a discount on an industrial generator and light tower that will illuminate the street. So I ended up towing the 1.25-ton contraption about 45 miles from this industrial depot area to the church parking lot, where the carnival will take place.

LR2 handled beautifully the entire way. It didn't even rev especially high, and the autobox was a charm. The gasoline 3.2 engine drank a nice helping of premium fuel, however. The man at the depot was very impressed. "That's a nice work truck," he said. "Usually we just get dented up Ford F-250s in here." Mr. Green
