Mine is a proper Land Rover (FL2), all the other makes are only 4x4s or SUV's etc.

I used to have a Honda 'CRV' it had as much offroading ability as a one legged rollerskater ....its good to drive a proper 4x4

Interesting to see how different terms are understood in different countries. In Norway a 4x4 covers all kinds of 4x4. Suzuki, Kia, Skoda, Porsche Cayenne...... -whatever that has 4x4.

SUV is more refined. Premium if you will. I think the FL2 is a Premium SUV. That sounds much, much better than just saying 4x4.

Jeep is a Jeep. Most people would think of it as a military vehicle. I am afraid the Defender might be mistaken for a Jeep though....

But SUV? Yes, that is a noble tag.
